A Texas passenger has retained the BB&R cruise injury lawyers to represent her in a claim against cruise ship sailing from Galveston. While the cruise ship was returning to Galveston, the woman was walking though a tiled passageway where she slipped and fell on an unreasonably slippery deck. The fall resulted in a fracture. Cruise lines have the duty to exercise reasonable care for their passengers’ safety. This duty includes maintaining decks so they are reasonably suited to accommodate foot traffic and to dry wet decks of liquid.
